Soweto Mandlanzi

Soweto Mandlanzi, whose full name is Sabelo Godfrey Mandlanzi, is a South African author, motivational speaker, preacher, MC, and forensic auditor. He was born in 1985 and raised in Coronation, Vryheid, in KwaZulu-Natal.

Growing up in a township environment, Soweto Mandlanzi faced many challenges from a young age. After losing his father early in life, he was raised by his hardworking single mother. Despite these challenges, he remained determined to create a better future for himself.

He attended public schools in Vryheid, including KwaNotshelwa High School, before furthering his studies in Information Systems at Durban University of Technology. He later expanded his professional qualifications in internal auditing and fraud examination, building a strong career in forensic and internal auditing.

From an early age, Soweto Mandlanzi showed a deep interest in writing, music, religion, and public speaking. He became known for writing speeches, letters, and inspirational content while still at school. Although he initially dreamed of pursuing a music career, he later focused on writing, speaking, and ministry.

Today, Soweto Mandlanzi is known for his motivational talks at schools, churches, youth events, weddings, and corporate gatherings. He also serves as a preacher and master of ceremonies for various occasions.

As an author, he has published several books that have inspired many readers across South Africa. His notable works include Just Teething for a New Thing, Dear Jacob, Life is a Trip, and Decoding 666_9: The Inexplicable Life of Senzo Meyiwa.

Through his work, Soweto Mandlanzi aims to encourage young people to stay away from crime, drugs, and hopelessness, while embracing education, discipline, faith, and purpose. His long-term vision is to continue empowering communities and creating opportunities for young talent in South Africa.
